It&#8217;s not just a dietary model, nor should it be considered &#8220;old.&#8221;<br\/> It is still one of the most studied <sup data-fn=\"f7d7f259-c908-46d7-8841-3ae872b8bef4\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"f7d7f259-c908-46d7-8841-3ae872b8bef4-link\" href=\"#f7d7f259-c908-46d7-8841-3ae872b8bef4\">1<\/a><\/sup> and effective nutritional models in the world \u2013 and the data, not just tradition, says so. <\/p>\n\n<p>In 2025, the Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU) presented a new version of the Food Pyramid <sup data-fn=\"347fda3f-8880-410c-badc-0e72c23b0b87\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"347fda3f-8880-410c-badc-0e72c23b0b87-link\" href=\"#347fda3f-8880-410c-badc-0e72c23b0b87\">2<\/a><\/sup> , updated to reflect current needs and promote greater adherence to daily lifestyle:<\/p>\n\n<p>More space for plant-based and whole foods.<br\/> Reduce consumption of red meat, sugars, alcohol and ultra-processed products.<br\/> Greater attention to seasonality, environmental sustainability, and the culture of food as a relationship and prevention.<\/p>\n\n<p>A vision that is increasingly closer to the Mediterranean model, and to an idea of nutrition and well-being that brings together health, territory and awareness.<br\/> And it remains relevant also because it does not impose, but educates and accompanies, with balance and simplicity.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/stefaniacorrado.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Piramide-Alimentare-SINU-benessere-Stefania-Corrado.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11159\" style=\"width:677px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stefaniacorrado.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Piramide-Alimentare-SINU-benessere-Stefania-Corrado.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/stefaniacorrado.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Piramide-Alimentare-SINU-benessere-Stefania-Corrado-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stefaniacorrado.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Piramide-Alimentare-SINU-benessere-Stefania-Corrado-768x538.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The new food pyramid (Italian Society of Human Nutrition, 2025)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Harvard Healthy Eating Plate: Let&#8217;s get clear<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The same principles also guide the \u201cHarvard Healthy Plate <sup data-fn=\"448f1ee5-1e8c-4c7b-8bee-b2ce7db1f921\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"448f1ee5-1e8c-4c7b-8bee-b2ce7db1f921-link\" href=\"#448f1ee5-1e8c-4c7b-8bee-b2ce7db1f921\">3<\/a><\/sup> \u201d, one of the most effective and authoritative representations of daily nutrition.<\/p>\n\n<p>The message is simple:<br\/> there&#8217;s no need to count everything, you just need to rearrange the proportions.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bd plate of vegetables and fruit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc whole grains<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc healthy proteins (fish, legumes, nuts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>good fats, water, daily physical activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>It is a flexible, intuitive and accessible model.<br\/> It integrates perfectly with the Mediterranean Diet. Not a sacrifice, but a construction. <\/p>\n\n<p>Good nutrition is never just an individual thing.<br\/>It&#8217;s an act of consistency and respect. Toward oneself and the world we live in. <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>From the Mediterranean to Asia&#8230; Let&#8217;s educate ourselves through food <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Mediterranean Diet is an exportable model.
